How To: Cleaning Dirty Window Tracks

Are you tired of looking at dirty, dusty, grimy window tracks? Yeah, so are we. That’s why we’ve come up with a simple solution to make them shine again!

Gather these items:

  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Paper towel
  • Rag or cloth
  • Old toothbrush
  • Butter knife

Sprinkle a little baking soda wherever the dirtiest places are (most likely in the corners).

Now, pour a tiny bit of white vinegar over the baking soda. It doesn’t take much. Once you’ve poured the vinegar over the baking soda, just leave it. This is how the magic happens! Wait 10 minutes.

Grab a toothbrush and start scrubbing! Push all the grime toward the centre of the window track.

Remove all the gunk that you moved to the centre of the window track by picking it up with a paper towel. Then, throw it away and wipe away whatever residue is left.

Grab your butter knife and cover it with your rag. Push the covered knife into the corners of the tracks to get rid of any remaining dirt. Then, do one last wipe.
